The world is an unbelievably complicated place. And it’s not only politics complicating everything, there’s much more going on, very challenging to navigate. There’s a global economy now, the safest, fastest and easiest world-wide travel in history, scientists are exploring and discovery at times even with competitor nations and then there is technology, all making the world an extremely small, complex place. The complexities of navigating a world wherein the borders are disappearing, languages translated at the push of a button, video calls putting us in front of someone at the other side of the world instantly, products can be shipped around the world in a day, etc. this and more make it extremely difficult for any nation to not only maneuver but retain their own sovereignty. America has to be a competitor now in a world in which we led in creating – and without a doubt no nation can boast the advances America brought to this world. Think about it, before America, travel was confined to ships and horses, communication was hand written and delivered in person, most of the world was rather undiscovered, gunpowder had just recently become a part of warfare and the Catholic Church was dominating most of the global political landscape. How much has changed in a couple hundred years!? Now America and the west has to survive in a world wherein we helped to create our own great and mighty competitors. India is about to surpass China’s population, China and India combined have almost half the world’s population! But the Arab nations and Africa have the fastest growing populations while most of the west’s population growth is actually now negative! The west is literally losing population and yet still striving to remain the global leader it has been for centuries. The world has changed entirely since America’s founding and we enabled it, for better or for worse. Leaving the complexities of geopolitics let us examine the challenges of our own nation for a moment: two completely polarized political groups with entirely different ideas for America’s future have suddenly emerged. The vision for America cast by these two warring parties has lost any and all overlap. Wherein we used to have a plethora of policies that we could agree on, what remains is no longer relevant for any collaboration at all. And while these parties war the nation grieves - and splinters in two. While we labor to keep the ship that is America thriving, we have a century of alliances and agreements we are dragging along and they are starting to weigh us down. America has many allies: NATO, Israel, Japan, South Korea, to name a few. We also have written contracts within the Middle East, with Ukraine, the Saudi’s, Iraq, etc. And while the world goes to war are we prepared or equipped to fight in every battle? This is again incredibly complex - and every one of our leaders has their own idea of what is best. We were just reminded this week that as a nation we promised to protect Ukraine if they gave up their nuclear arsenal. The former President, Bill Clinton just gave an interview lamenting how he wished he had never convinced Ukraine to do so. And now America is on the hook…? We have promises to protect Ukraine from the Russians, Israel from the Iranians, Taiwan from the Chinese, South Korea from the North, Japan from China and then there are our agreements to NATO! There’s the competition in the South China sea, various troubles in North Africa, Syria’s civil war, Azerbaijan and Armenia, Kosovo and the Serbs are back at it again! Lots of challenges throughout the world. Many of our allies are either at war or a very small step away from a formally declared conventional war. And yet we must remain America First. But how to be America first in such a complicated time? Should we really break the commitments that we made to certain nations while upholding the commitments we made to others? Can we fight a four or five front war simultaneously? Do we have the political capital to diplomatically wiggle our way out of some of these conflicts, in a time wherein China/Russia have declared war on our US currency? How to remain America First in such a time as this? I can appreciate the zeal of many of our thought leaders, men of influence and seated government officials but while I can appreciate their fervor and zeal – and even admire them for it – this might not be a time for us to be so certain or confident. Let me explain. We have to unify our nation, first and foremost, the heart and soul of America is dying and we must not lose America while saving the world! We are not going to be able to withstand the battles that lie ahead with a people so divided. We must become truly America First. And yet can we simply turn a blind eye to a century of agreements we have made to our allies? Can we be a policeman for the whole of the world? I can appreciate the passion and certainty of many of our leaders but in a time such as this I think a little humility, meekness, patience and open-mindedness might be in order. Perhaps admitting to our inadequacies and to the high stakes which lie in the decisions ahead might be better fitting for the hour? A little humility might be just what the doctor ordered… According to the press we are dramatically depleting our arsenal in Ukraine, it looks like we are going to have to fight with the Chinese over Taiwan, Iran is going to have to be pushed back in the Middle East and we will more than likely have to help to stop their nuclear program, the nation’s surrounding Israel are an absolute powder keg about to explode and still there are even more troubles! What if Russia goes to war with NATO? Doesn’t the US lead NATO? We gave our word to protect Ukraine. How do we abandon a people who trusted us when they gave up their greatest (nuclear) deterrent, to keep Russia at bay. Who among us is capable of navigating our nation thru this storm that has fallen upon the nations? As a long time minister I have to remind my reader that God is without a doubt involved with the nations. Nations were God’s creation. He thought up the concept, God invented them and we worked with Him creating the world as it is. God has always been the benevolent ruler of the world, our Father, beckoning the nations to Himself, to peace and prosperity by the rule of His law. This has been God’s plan since the start. He made a nation out of the children of Israel and declared, “All the people of the earth will be blessed by my people”! It’s a truth found all throughout the word of God. God is a nationalist, through and through. If every nation did what was best for themselves and pushed away these fantasy-land ideas for a one-world governance, history would continue. But we are marching so fast towards this globalist idea of a world without borders and I fear, as the Bible predicts, it will be the end of us. There are no checks and balances with a global order. The strongest and most dominant within such a global-government will end up ruling the world. It’s a fantasy to think everyone will suddenly be just, play fair, hold hands and sing “kumbaya” together. This is the makings of a fairytale! There are brutal and oppressive regimes all over the world. Are we truly considering marrying into such a family!? These European thought leaders, these elites, billionaires, hedge fund managers, autocrats, these academics and the others, must wake up to reality: you are handing the world over to a very small group of people who will crush mankind into oblivion. And the Bible has foretold that the whole thing will take place, eventually. But it doesn’t have to this generation! We are right to fight for the nations. We are right to fight for America, first. God is with us in this fight but there is so much more. Fighting for America First is the Big Picture but then we have to fill in the details. How to fight for America first in a world so complex, filled with mine fields, pit falls, dead ends and booby-traps!? Don’t support Ukraine? Are we 100% sure we should abandon that commitment? Support Taiwan? While we fight in Ukraine? But what about Israel!? Iran is chomping at the bit to wipe them off the face of the map!? And while our nation fights its political-civil war, our enemies band together creating a force against the west that history has simply never seen before! This is our “Come to Jesus” moment, whether we realize it or not. We are at the brink of losing everything. I pray many elected leaders read this as a wake-up call with a large dose of reality, those in Washington DC right now literally have the future of mankind in their hands! If there ever was a time to find a little religion? It would be right now! We need miracles and we need them yesterday. The good news is our God is a God of miracles! The Bible literally names Him, “A Miracle Working God!” But our leaders must turn to Him with a kind of desperation and expectation: a desperation that says, “I will not stop praying until you answer me!” and an expectation that says, “I know in my heart of hearts that you will come thru for us…” It's not strange for the leaders of a nation to fast and pray. Israel did it often when times got tough - and God would hear their prayer from heaven and move mightily on their behalf. If we think that we are smart enough to navigate ourselves out of this disaster, our pride will be the end of us. They stole an election from the American people, the nation was hijacked and probably all the way down-ballot! Our borders are open, letting in an army of people who do not have Americas best interests at heart, and worse! Nations have declared war on our currency, we are just about bankrupt and most all our allies are about to go to war, if they aren’t already. If this isn’t our desperate hour to turn to our God with prayer and fasting? Then what on earth does desperation look like!? We need answers. And we need them now. We need answers to problems so complex that without the intervention of our God we are going to fail, miserably. Our nation needs to find the way and quite frankly I would give the same exact advice to our allies: to Israel, to the nations of NATO, to South Korea and Japan. I would give this same advice that they would turn to God in prayer and fasting, that they would seek Him until He responds and make as few decisions as possible until then. There is an evil in the hearts of men that has seemed to blind the whole world and the few good men who remain must find a way for us all! We have super-natural problems and we are going to need a supernatural solution. Our God is the God of miracles! And we need Him to show up on the scene right now! I hope and pray our fellow Americans (on both sides of the aisle) wake up to the reality of the situation we are in. It’s not merely a desperate hour, it’s several hours past desperation! As our Republic fights its civil and political war the world burns. We must restore America First, this year, immediately. And God can do it. Pray for our nation! Pray for America First! Then we can respond and actually help the nations instead of watching them all burn to the ground! God will come thru for us! Call the leaders, gather with your politicians, rich men, clergy, academics and the rest. Remember Joel in the Bible who called for a solemn assembly and a fast! Perhaps the dozens of Christian elected leaders in DC will call for the nation to fast and pray We need a miracle I pray this message pricks your hearts. I would come to DC tomorrow if the Freedom Caucus or a few of these elected believers called for prayer and fasting as a nation! And I believe with all my heart God would hear our prayers and respond, suddenly! Just like He always did for Israel! I’m not sure we will make it thru this storm without our God It’s as if He’s asleep in the deck below Now let us Go! And Wake Him!!

The Whig Party was very prominent, but it too had fractions within the group, especially when it came to slavery. The repeal of the Missouri Compromise was the final straw. It was the strong-hold to slavery. The Kansas-Nebraska Act allowed the states to decide if they were going to be a free state or a slavery state. This dissolved the Missouri Compromise and the Whigs who were against slavery disbanded and started reaching out in territories to the north. First Party Platform Here is an excerpt from the first Republican Party Platform in 1854: “Resolved: That while the constitution of the united states was ordained and established by the people, in order ‘to form a more perfect union, established justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty,’ and contain ample provisions for the protection of the life, liberty and property of every citizen, the dearest constitutional rights of the people of Kansas have been fraudulently and violently taken from them. - Their territory has been invaded by an armed force; - Spurious and pretended legislative, judicial, and executive officers have been set over them, by those whose usurped authority, sustained by the military power from the government, tyrannical and unconstitutional laws have been enacted and enforced; - The rights of the people to keep and bear arms has been infringed; - Test oaths of an extraordinary and entangled nature have been imposed as a condition of exercising the right of suffrage and holding office; - The right of an accused person to a speedy and public trial by an impartial jury has been denied; - The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, have been violated; - They have deprived of life, liberty and property without due process of the law; - That the freedom of speech and of the press has been abridged; - The right to choose their representatives has been made of no effect; - Murders, robberies, and arsons have been instigated and encouraged and the offenders have been allowed to go unpunished; That all these things have been done with the knowledge, sanction and procurement of the present National Administration; and that for this high crime against the Constitution, the Union, and humanity, we arraign that the Administration, the President, his advisors, agents, supporters, apologists and accessories, either before or after the fact, before the country and before the world; and that it is our fixed purpose to bring the actual perpetrators of these atrocious outrages and their accomplices to a sure and condign punishment thereafter.” Source: Republican Party Platform of 1856 | The American Presidency Project (ucsb.edu): This was all a pretext to the civil war that would take place in 1861 and last until 1865. Kansas and Nebraska were joined as one territory. War had broken out here in 1854 between pro-slavery and antislavery advocates. This small civil war lasted until 1859 and as the new Republican movement was making its way north it rested in Jackson, MI – the birthplace of the Republican party in Michigan, although some will argue it was the birthplace of the party’s existence. The Republican platform is what America should be and provides the foundation for every American to reach their full potential. But even as they were struggling with differences within the party in 1854, it is no different now. We have been infiltrated by moderate Republicans and Democrats over the years and this has had a direct effect on the party platform to the extent there isn’t a true definition of what is a Republican. Our vision for America is vastly different from the progressive liberal and Ronald Reagan said it best: “Two visions of the future, two fundamentally different ways of governing their government of pessimism, fear and limits, or ours of hope, confidence and growth. Their government sees people only as members of groups. Ours serves all the people of America as individuals.” Present Day After reading the party platform from 1854, I feel that they were living present day 2020. We were faced with a man-made virus and a summer filled with BLM/Antifa running the streets burning buildings and businesses with no punishment. The press was lying about what was happening while suppressing the truth on social media calling us all conspiracy theorists. To this day, citizens have been denied a speedy trial from the aftermath of a peaceful protest at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Now we find out the government has suppressed the truth about what transpired that day. We had tyrant governors denying our right to go to work, school or church and mandating masks on children which did nothing to stop the virus. The Republican platform is there to guide our policies. It is no different than the Bible guiding our political views. We stand on principle and by allowing our party to be ruled by those against the platform is only causing more division. The world is changing but our principles should remain the same. If you don’t like the party platform, leave but don’t expect us to bend to moderate Republicans (RINOs) or liberals and expect us to change our views. When has compromising with Democrats ever move the needle to the right? Never! Here in Michigan, Republicans lost the House and Senate for the first time in 40 years. Some say it’s because of how “extreme” we’re becoming or it’s Trump’s fault, but I believe, (outside of election fraud) they lost what they once were. In Ottawa County, where I reside, it is the fastest growing county in the state. It is because of those Christian principles which makes it one of the most conservative counties in Michigan. It has become a destination county because of its heritage and a great place to raise a family. We had a local government changeover from more liberal commissioners to very conservative because we were sick of the games being played. They supported DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) and created a department focused on it. They removed it. It is racist and divisive in its title alone. We had a previous administrator that was ok with forced mandates and shutdowns. This isn’t freedom at all nor part of our platform. The new commissioners brought in a new administrator and a strong constitutional legal group. Everything goes back to 2020 when COVID brought out the sleeping majority. We stormed the commissioners' meeting with over 1000 Ottawa County citizens fed up with direction by the local health department and commissioners. This brought in new precinct delegates for one of the largest increases in a single term. Thus, The America First agenda was born. The same America First delegates that took over Ottawa County, took over the State Convention in February by electing its first black women chairperson of the Republican Party of Michigan. Kristina Karamo was a statewide figure after running for Secretary of State but losing to Benson in the general election. She has charisma, defined goals and is a warrior for God. Her tenacity and grit are contagious. There are critics, however, even within our own party that question her qualifications to lead the party and to raise funds. Why can’t we trust that God has put her there? Why would it be different when God put a lowly shepherd boy David as the king of Israel. Did he have the experience? There is a reason God has allowed it. Can’t you trust Him? Your nominee lost the convention and somehow God is no longer on the throne? Instead of in-party fighting, why aren’t you more worried about what is happening now in our current legislature? As I write this, this is what we are up against in Michigan: Universal background checks for shotguns and rifles. Red Flag laws for gun owners. Mandatory gun safety storage at home. Repealing of the right to work law. Reinstating the prevailing wage law. LGBTQ discrimination added to the Elliot Larson Civil Rights Act. $630M Tax appropriations for Ford plant and Chinese technology. Repealing 1931 abortion ban. Extend gun free zones to any government owned or leased building. Remove reading retention for 3rd graders to be allowed to move up in grade. Republican Core Values The first Republican president Abraham Lincoln abolished slavery through the Emancipation Proclamation and the adoption of the 13th Amendment. We gave women the right to vote with the addition of the 19th Amendment. It’s the reason Ottawa County changed its slogan to “Where Freedom Rings.” It encompasses all. Prosperity happens through low taxes, regulatory restraint and less government. We need to have a strong, robust military, peace through strength. We understand that we have inalienable rights that come from God. That life is important and to fight for the unborn. That marriage is between a man and a woman. Now we’re giving awards in sports to men parading as women. We believe homosexuality is a sin and only two genders exist. Hate the sin but love the sinner and I admit the Christian community has done a poor job with this. We can let them live and let live if they aren’t pushing their agenda on us. But now we have Drag Queens reading books to little children, why? It is because we are pushing God out of everything we do. Parental rights are being ignored. We hold tight to our right to bear arms. You see, the government thinks it is their job to provide work for you, give you healthcare, supply income, and finally, take care of your children. That is the definition of socialism. President Trump reminded us that the love of country is a good thing. It was a huge revival of American Patriotism. Now you could argue his rhetoric was a bit much at times, but it didn’t overshadow what he did for America. His policies were on target and hadn’t been seen since Reagan. He fought for the unborn, religious freedom, lower taxes, less regulation, economic prosperity, low unemployment, almost zero inflation, energy independence, border security and a strong military. I was only a small child in the days of Reagan, but I’m glad to have witnessed what a true Republican is and how it benefited all Americans.

The Center seeks to increase public-private collaboration in cities and advance more inclusive and sustainable models for urban development.” WEF Whether on the left or right side of the political isle every Michigander should want to know what it means to have the World Economic Forum establish a new global Center for Urban Transformation. “Detroit will serve as the center’s global headquarters, providing a model for more inclusive and sustainable urban development.” WEF. These nice sounding terms should serve as a cautionary tale though. The language we have come to expect in Michigan when it comes to public-private partnerships that tell us they are here for our best interest and to help solve our problems. When in reality they are a bunch of greedy opportunists seeking to capitalize on Michigan’s resources during tragedy and hardship. Let’s deconstruct who is in charge of this effort and what are their track records. A public-private partnership is a Fabian socialist mechanism to gradually transition private sector industry to national or federal control. As with every effort federalized, we can see failure often catastrophically. In a true capitalist system competition drives redundancy and optimization that makes for a hardy supply chain backbone and keeps profiteering in check while affording the greatest social mobility. Today the United States has grown into a crony socio-capitalist society with consolidation around legal monopolies, strategic duopolies, and controlled triopolies. The crony capitalist cycle through government, non-profit, and executive private corporate positions always scratching each other’s backs and ensuring nothing more than a slap on the wrist ever befalls one another. We should be skeptical of any public-private partnership especially when they refuse to provide transparency by hiding controversial activities behind private entities. Look no further than NIH and Eco Health Alliance with gain of function research exposed in congressional hearings by Rand Paul R-KY. “Inclusive urban development includes mobilizing the global business community to commit expertise and resources in support of local communities, exploring new approaches to expand urban services, and economic opportunity in low-income and traditionally marginalized communities.” WEF. When we hear the word inclusive it should be well known now that this refers to minority owned businesses. Sounds great right? What people don’t realize is how this is a ploy, a bait and switch. Who are the investors in these companies? By putting minority owners as a legal shield ensures the ACLU, NAACP, and SPLC have standing in cases against anyone who challenges the contracts awarded these companies. This creates a super class of untouchable cronies with an army of attorneys at their ready. These same attorneys get rewarded with positions as prosecutors which then fail to charge former foot soldiers for those social justice organizations. Those foot soldiers drive property values down and drive away market competition through unrestricted crime. This allows Chinese backed real estate firms to pick-up businesses for pennies on the dollar. Add to this the tax breaks for foreign firms and we are seeing the intentional selling out of our nation to malign foreign interest. Sustainable, the World Economic Forum will leverage its global network of leading companies, governments, civil society organizations and academic institutions to support cities as they seek to rebuild their economies and forge more resilient communities. Am I the only one seeing the hypocrisy of building WEF offices in coastal cities? The WEF promotes climate change. The scientist they proudly promote indicate those same cities should be underwater due to global warming. The WEF then hires a developer who worked at FivePoint LLC on the San Francisco (another WEF city) Shipyard housing development. Also, the site of massive logistical disruptions during the declared COVID pandemic years. San Francisco is challenged with homelessness, crime, and the farthest left policies in the nation. All of which we are seeing come to Michigan. What many may also not know is that the deep water port of San Francisco was owned by China until Trump forced them to sell. How fun! But looking under the proverbial hood, many things are revealed. Here are 5 Major Reasons to run away from All Electric Cars: They can’t take the Heat (or cold). If you live in places of extremes, hot or cold, you are going to be bothered by the poor performance of your air conditioning and heating compared with what you are used to with your combustion engine. Have you priced one of your Tesla/EV batteries lately? You are going to spend $40-50,000 for your EV, then whatever it costs to charge and then, your batteries are only going to last? 10 years? If you are lucky and take care of them perfectly? Depending on the batteries your EV uses, it could cost you upwards of $20,000 to replace! THEY ARE NOT GREEN! Contrary to popular opinion, these batteries pose Major problems to God’s creation. They do not know how to get rid of them. They are not completely recyclable right now. At some point in time these batteries will all end up useless and they simply do not have a sustainable plan to dispose of them. But with all of this, we still haven’t discussed the conditions of the mines where they are extracting the Lithium. Extracting these rare-earth minerals totally destroy the immediate area surrounding the mine for years maybe decades because of the toxic way they process the lithium (or cobalt). Extremely Unsafe. If you are buying an EV you must think of your cars engine and batteries as an INCENDIARY DEVICE! They literally use Lithium in some of the WMDs they make! If your batteries catch fire, there is simple nothing the fire department can do to put them out. They burn and burn and burn until all the fuel is extinguished. How is that for Green Technology!? They are powered by Power Plants! Don’t live in some delusion that we are going to be able to replace our electric grid with Solar, Wind, Hydro technologies. That is fantasy land. Already, with only 20-30% of our grid being replaced with these “green” technologies there are massive problems to the grid! Rolling Blackouts, brownouts during extreme weather especially are becoming common place in every state that has invested heavily into this delusion. These EVs are going to have to get power from somewhere? What? Are we going to go all-nuclear powered? Like Nuclear is green-energy!? What a crock! They have no idea still how to recycle the waste. Don’t ever forget that. They still, archaically bury the nuclear waste in drums somewhere in the earth. Believe it or not, coal is still the most “green” economically sound, power-creating technology we have to date. I will discuss ideas for other technologies that have been resisted for decades in another article. Conclusion: will there come a time wherein our technology is better and suddenly EVs become advantageous? Perhaps. But if we return to reality and stop living in this dreamland we will conclude now is simply not the time. I have heard it rumored they can make combustion engines that gets 100 miles to the gallon!? What if we focused our engineers on maximizing the output of the combustion engine? Or what if we focused better on mass transit like so much of the world, investing in high-speed trains and rail systems? Certainly there are things we can do to make this world a better and more sustainable place but the fact of the matter is now is not the time for EVs.

I will get back to my series that will help us to avoid our adversary, called, “No More Sympathy for the Devil” after the 1st of the year. I wanted to end the year with some good news but also with a reasonable warning. Jesus was and is many things but one thing I think we miss about Him is that He understood politics. It’s not every day we think of the Rabbi, miracle-working preacher, Son of God as a political scientist but absolutely He was and is. And He understood economics and principles to bless the whole of a society and the world at large. I would encourage many of you politicians, economists, think-tank researchers, academics and clergy to reread the New Testament and the Torah with that in mind. You will be amazed at the things that pop off the pages as you do! But these are revolutionary ideas. Jesus’ political and economic concepts were/are based in The Absolute Truth and would be quite radical in our culture to implement. Ideas like, “Loving your enemies” would not go over very well in the President’s P.E.O.C., among the Joint-Chiefs. Telling some of our hawkish Israeli or DC diplomats to “turn the other cheek” might not be the answer they were looking for. But Jesus saw/sees the big picture – we tend to live with great limitation and lack. Lack was never God’s idea, ever. Our enemy still tries to convince us, “There is not enough to go around” and that simple mistruth remains one of the greatest problems on earth. The more our leaders agree that there is not enough, the more warring and strife we will see among the nations. The more our leaders refuse to love instead of fear, the more division we will see throughout the earth. How to resolve conflict without understanding one’s enemy? And how to understand one’s enemy without empathy? And how to empathize without love??? The deception of lack has been destroying our work since the beginning. We can apply “There is not enough to go around”, this deception, to our relationships. For instance, we think, “What if I love her and it doesn’t work?” Trying to save his marriage, a man might come to the incorrect conclusion, “What if I give her all the love and forgiveness I have and she still leaves me and worse yet, seeks to destroy me?” This too is lack showing up in our lives, we determine we do not have enough (love) to give, as if we are going to run out and so we with-hold (of our love) and simply give up far too easily. But what if we thought differently? What if we believed in an abundance of God’s love!? Jesus was always trying to break us out of our limitations, the often, self-imposed limitations, the limitations we have come to believe in and trust – but Jesus said, “I have come that you might have Life and that you might live it more abundantly!” (my Paraphrase of John 10:10). We have bought into the lies and propaganda of our enemy, and it’s the same since the beginning, “Did God really say?” The enemy plants this doubt into our minds and we receive it in our hearts, these and other lies penetrate into the deepest parts of our soul and they come to rule our lives. Doubt. Unbelief. Fear. Those ruling politicians, business-titans, academics, etc., How many of them have believed in the lies for four or five decades and rule us now with terrible misunderstanding and a heart or spirit of lack? I read a book years ago about economics, called, “God wants you to be rich” (by Paul Zane Piltzer). The title was catchy but I wish it had had a different title, honestly. What was within the book was wonderful, it was full of God’s truths applied to economic theory. I read it when I was 18 years old – what a blessing these truths were to a young man who ended up becoming an entrepreneur!! But the concepts of abundance and lack apply to much more than economic theory – what we choose to believe about God’s kingdom and His ways are going to permeate every area of our lives, everything within our culture, our nation, our politics and yes, even our economics. I will let someone else write the article about fear and greed – and how they unfortunately dictate much of the rising and falling of our economy. But brothers and sisters, this should not be so. We should not be so reactionary. We react to someone else’s riches and then we chase after them, almost mindlessly pursuing more, and more. But then we also react to someone else’s losses and then we shut-down and hoard, in fear. Our debt-based, often global economy has caused us to react rather than act in faith. Without all the debt, the rapid and almost chaotic rising and falling of our economy simply would never happen. I will save those thoughts for the economists. Jesus was not a reactionary. He was (and is) always ahead of the news, even outside of the prevailing tide, as if the world around Him had no power to sway His thoughts, vision or intention. He was bringing His kingdom to the earth, period – and Nothing was (or is) going to stop Him. He will love, regardless of what they do to Him – He will give and serve with the utmost, almost reckless-abandon – And nothing of this world will get Him off mission. He see’s the end from the beginning and He knows that these truths are the only thing that will set men free – therefore is He unwavering, resolute and uncompromising. We, one the other hand, hear the rumors, take off and run, we hide at the mere perception of something going wrong. We bury our talents in the earth because we believe in the lack - we don’t trust in God’s Truth but trust in the deceptions of our adversary and so we live enslaved, generation after generation. Consider all the ways we bury our gifts from God in the sand, instead of sharing them freely. There is an economics of fear and then there is an economics of the kingdom of heaven. “I was afraid to use what you gave me, Lord, and so I hid it in the earth…” Is that what we will say to the Lord when we finally meet Him? God forbid. The truth is, the earth is exceptionally huge! abundant doesn’t even begin to describe the earth and the seas and the fullness therein. But we/men are ruining everything. We don’t believe in the truth of His abundance and so we go to war against His creation, believing that it needs improving. Transhumanism, genetically-modified foods, merging man and machine, going to the stars, searching for a better creation, etc. all these concepts and more are born out of men choosing to trust in lack rather than God’s abundant kingdom. But there is hope in Jesus. Certainly, He knew what the future of the world would look like. None of these times are coming as a shock to our God. We have been lied to. We have an enemy who is taking the abundance of God’s earth, the fullness, and turning it into desolation. Brothers and sisters, we must not go along with His deception any longer. We must have a lifeline. Where does your hope originate from? From where do you receive power and strength for the day, to persevere against the prevailing winds of such deception and propoganda!? We need a direct conduit to life and life more abundantly. We need to be daily, hourly, moment by moment “plugged-in” to the source of all life, who is our Savior, our Messiah. He said, “I am the way, the truth and The Life. No man will come to the Father but thru me.” There is false hope, temporal hope, fleeting hope and then there is the True Power that plants us on a rock and makes us immovable – the Spirit which comes from knowing Jesus Christ and Him knowing us. All of this abundant life begins and remains found in Him. As the year comes to its conclusion: my hope and prayer for us all is that we believe, like never before, and literally bring the kingdom of heaven to earth in 2023. “His reward is with Him and His work is before Him” (Isaiah). There is plenty of work to do. Plenty to hope in. Shut your ears to all the bad news and open your hearts to the word of God. From out of a man’s heart the mouth speaks, in the hearts of men are all sorts of iniquity but there is no such thing within our God. Soften your hearts. Open them up to receiving something new. Our work this year could produce Gold and Silver ( to be refined) or it could produce wood, hay and stubble which is destined to be burnt up by the fire. There is a time to be still and know He is God And then there is a time to take the kingdom!! All these things are revealed in Him By the One who speaks only the Truth 2023: It could be the best of times It could be the worst of times? Our obedience to the word of God will determine these things for each household. There is Great Hope up ahead Can we discern it?? Tyranny is common throughout history, and we are currently re-living it in the USA today. But, as history has proven, tyrannical regimes never last and are unsustainable. Only free individuals working together can last. My desire is to provide a reality check while at the same time provide hope to people, reminding them that they’re better than they think they are, that we have more power than we think we have, and by working together we can survive and thrive in this cesspool of debauchery. As many of you may know, I just returned from Rome, Italy, where I completed the Rome Marathon on March 19, 2023. Rome is a city built upon a city, and for 2,000 years it’s been a center of commerce, culture and religious importance. It’s hard to understand the rich history of that city without actually being there to see it for yourself. It’s truly a remarkable place. As I immersed myself in the city and its history, I began to see similarities between ancient Rome and our current situation in the United States. Tyranny is common throughout history, and if history has taught us anything it’s that the world is controlled by dominant men through the aggressive use of force. Individuals are irrelevant except for their ability to support the regime by paying taxes, voting (in the regime’s favor) and complying with the will of those in power. Never has this been more obvious in the United States than under the so-called covid pandemic. Individuals were forced to comply with unconstitutional mask and vaccine mandates or risk being ostracized and denied access to stores, churches and even loved ones. Some even lost their jobs and long term careers for refusing an experimental gene modification drug that has never been approved by the FDA. From a Biblical perspective, this is the closest thing I have seen to the “mark of the beast.” Now, with the advent of blockchain and the imminent Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), we are starting to witness an ever stronger and insidious form of control. With this technology, the regime will be able to not only control when and where you travel, but they can dictate how, when and where you spend your money, taking complete control over your finances with a social credit system. But remember, this is nothing new. Evil men have always, always, desired to command and control you. Tyranny is as old as time and violence is its ultimate weapon. This goes back to the dawn of time when Cain killed his brother Abel out of envy and anger for his inability to get his own way. Throughout history, humanity has witnessed brutal, oppressive regimes characterized by tyranny, authoritarianism, and the suppression of individual liberties. Their legacy is one of suffering, pain, and destruction, and their memory serves as a warning to future generations about the dangers of unchecked power. Here are some of the most significant tyrannical regimes in history: The Roman Empire The Roman Empire is one of the most significant tyrannical regimes in history. The Empire was ruled by a succession of emperors who exercised absolute power over their subjects. Those emperors were known for their cruelty and brutality, and they maintained their power with military force and the suppression of dissent. The Roman Empire was responsible for the enslavement of millions of people, the persecution of religious minorities, and the destruction of entire civilizations. What caused their eventual demise? Fiat currency, corrupt politicians, ignoring the rule of law and immigration that destroyed the fabric of the Republic. Sound familiar? The Soviet Union The Soviet Union was a communist state that existed from 1922 to 1991. The Soviet Union was ruled by a single party, the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, which exercised total control over every aspect of society. The Soviet Union was responsible for the deaths of millions of people, both through the purges of the Stalin era and the famines that followed the collectivization of agriculture. The Soviet Union was also responsible for the oppression of religious minorities and the suppression of individual freedoms. Nazi Germany Nazi Germany was a fascist state that existed from 1933 to 1945. The Nazi regime was led by Adolf Hitler, who was responsible for the deaths of millions of people during the Holocaust. The Nazi regime was also responsible for the persecution of religious minorities, the suppression of individual liberties, and the destruction of entire communities. North Korea North Korea is a totalitarian state that has existed since 1948. The country is ruled by the Kim dynasty, which exercises total control over every aspect of society. North Korea is responsible for the deaths of millions of people, both through the famine that followed the collapse of the Soviet Union and through the brutal treatment of political prisoners. North Korea is also responsible for the suppression of individual freedoms, the persecution of religious minorities, and the destruction of entire communities. China China is a communist state that has existed since 1949. The country is ruled by the Chinese Communist Party, which exercises total control over every aspect of society. China is responsible for the deaths of millions of people, both through the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution. China is also responsible for the oppression of religious minorities and the suppression of individual freedoms. The legacy of tyrannical regimes is one of suffering, pain, and destruction. These regimes have been responsible for the deaths of millions of people, the persecution of religious minorities, the suppression of individual freedoms, and the destruction of entire communities. It is essential that we learn from history that these regimes never last. One thing that always survives is individuals working together in competency, creativity and cooperation based on a foundation of trust. Our founding fathers knew that, which is why they created a republic, not a democracy. A republic encourages trust, honor, and integrity, whereas a democracy encourages debasement and immorality. There is not a single Democrat who would vote for the Bill of Rights today, and most Republicans would also vote against it. After all, the Bill of Rights includes the 1st and 2nd Amendments, as well as the 4th, the 5th and the 9th , all of which make the typical politician choke today. Our Founders understood how important those individual rights are. Tyrannical regimes hate individual freedom because regimes are controlled by insecure men, and men are never more insecure than when they feel out of control. Our country was also the first to be founded with the intentional separation of Church and State. No other country in history had that in its founding documents. Tyranny has been a constant in human history. From Xerxes, the Persian king who attempted to conquer Greece in 480 BC, to modern-day despots, the world has seen many forms of tyrannical regimes. Xerxes, the king of Persia, is remembered as a tyrant for his failed attempt to invade Greece. He is known for his brutal tactics, including the slaughter of Greeks at Thermopylae and the burning of Athens. His reign was marked by greed, cruelty, and a desire for power, making him one of history's earliest examples of a tyrannical ruler. The Roman Empire is another example of tyranny, particularly under the rule of Emperor Nero. Nero's reign was marked by violence and excess, including the murder of his own mother and the burning of Rome. He was known for his cruelty towards Christians, whom he blamed for the fire, and his lavish spending, which led to economic ruin. In Medieval Europe, tyrannical rulers were common. For example, King John of England is remembered for his oppressiveness and his unwillingness to abide by the rule of law. He is best known for signing the Magna Carta in 1215, which limited his power and established the principle of habeas corpus. During the Renaissance, tyrants were common in Italy, particularly in Florence. The Medici family, for example, ruled the city for several generations, using their wealth and power to suppress political opposition and maintain control. The Borgias, another powerful family, were known for their cruelty and corruption. The 20th century saw the rise of several notorious tyrants, including Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Mao Zedong. Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany, is remembered for his genocidal policies, including the Holocaust, which resulted in the deaths of six million Jews. Stalin, the leader of the Soviet Union, was responsible for the deaths of millions of his own people through forced labor, famine, and purges. Mao Zedong, the leader of communist China, was responsible for the deaths of millions of Chinese during the Cultural Revolution and the Great Leap Forward. In recent times, there have been many examples of tyrannical regimes, particularly in the Middle East and Africa. Saddam Hussein, the former leader of Iraq, was known for his brutal tactics, including the use of chemical weapons against his own people. Muammar Gaddafi, the former leader of Libya, ruled the country for over 40 years, using his power to suppress opposition and maintain control. Bashar al-Assad, the current leader of Syria, has been accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity for his role in the Syrian civil war. Tyranny, in all its forms, is a reminder of the fragility of democracy and the need to protect the individual.

I recently wrote an article about The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Remember the second horse which was red whose rider had the power to take peace from the earth? We have been living in a time wherein it is so difficult to be at peace, are we not? But how is our soul to find rest during the Covid-lockdowns, vaccine mandates and ensuing riots. How is our soul to get a break with all that is transpiring in and around Ukraine, hundreds of thousands of our troops already deployed with no end to the conflict in sight. How to be a peace watching what very well could be the start of World War III!? We live in a time of horrible temptation. When times are difficult we as a people in general, usually seek to find a place to escape from the bombardment of bad news and the constant strain on our soul. During Covid it was reported that drug and alcohol use soared! But where else to escape? As a society at large, rarely do we consider finding our escape in the things of God. It is also a temptation to allow ourselves to grow bitter and angry: during times of great suffering sometimes our fears get the best of us and we act out in anger and rage unable to find peace and comfort away from our fears. Fear is a terrible power that can drive a person to do unspeakable horrors, things they would never consider when they are of a sound mind and at peace. But how to be at peace with all of the injustices and our government practically spiraling out of control into such tyranny, quickly departing our constitution and rule of law!? Where do we find peace in a world wherein peace is daily being removed? Honestly, I don’t know what is the easy answer without a relationship with God. I don’t have any great or hidden wisdom for anyone trying to navigate this world without a relationship with their Father, through Jesus Christ the “Prince of Peace”. I supposed I could find a few platitudes, maybe something cliché, I could encourage my audience that “Everything will work out in the end” or “Hold to Hope” or “Justice will Prevail”. But I can not in good conscience placate any of us into thinking this story will end good without God. How to hold our peace here at the end of the world!? Many will shirk at the statement end of the world. It’s hard for all of us to truly consider the worst parts of the Bible are coming true before our very eyes. There is undeniably a convergence of last days events: wars and rumors of wars, war against Christianity at large, pandemics, governments of the world becoming increasingly tyrannical, fearful innovations of technology and genetic engineering, signs in the sun, moon and stars, astounding weather, troubles in the ocean, troubles in the earth, troubles in the air. And it has seemed to intensify lately. How to navigate all of this!? I have a wife and four young children (crazy enough my wife and I are considering trying for one more, we have three girls and often want a brother for our only son), I think of them every day and how to father them best in a world such as this. Look at our schools! The prevailing tide is laboring to ruin everything! They are taking the joy and innocence out of our schools at an alarming pace, without regard for what was once considered the sanctity of our children and youth. I’m a father who loves his children in words that would fail me to describe. The day my first-born daughter was born was literally one of the most miraculous and wonderful of my life. I never imagined how much love I could have for another person! Watching my children growing up in this world has probably been the most grieving of all. I think of it often and have to pray to not allow my fears to infiltrate my heart. Jesus said, “In your patience possess your souls” (Luke 21:19). When explaining to His disciples what the world would be like at the end, Jesus taught them to be patient and hold their peace. Obviously, it makes better sense now what God-incarnate was explaining to us. He practically said, “The end will not come quickly but there will be a period of time leading up to the end, the birth pains will come first and you will have to endure for what will seem like a long season, so be patient and hold your peace.” Read the whole of Luke 21 and tell me that is not a good summary of how He encouraged us to hold on… The temptations are great right now, without a doubt. In Revelation Chapter 3, when specifically referring to the last days He again brings up both the words temptation and patience. “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” (Rev 3:10) It’s the same message, “Stay patient and remain with me and I will bring you through the storm of these last days.” Honestly, everyone, it’s absolutely surreal to consider to you all what I am actually writing about, the Return of God to the earth! It’s so hard to fully grasp, even for me who has probably preached in 2,000 churches throughout his life! The end of this age and God putting His kingdom on the earth for a 1,000 years!? Totally and completely surreal. But I believe it’s really happening. So it's not a time to lose our focus or flip out completely (I jest a little). Here at the end, in a time fraught with temptations to completely “lose it”, whatever that may look like to you, our Lord and Savior says to us, “Hold your Peace,” and “In your Patience Possess your Souls”. I understand the concept of lawful assembly for our rights. I understand peacefully protesting injustices and the general theory behind showing our strength in the face of oppression but I wonder if this is ever going to produce a good and Godly result? Let me explain before I lose half my audience. There is a delicate balance to upholding the rule of law in a democracy that is turning to war against the laws of God. Our Constitutional Republic implores us to be an active part of our nations governance and how to do so as a Christian when the powers are warring against the rule of law is challenging, to say the least. This is not an easy time to navigate, for sure. But keep in mind, as we do, Jesus promised to get us through this mess to see His triumphant return! Jesus gave us the roadmap in the word of God to make it through this extremely challenging time and that roadmap begins with receiving His salvation, being born anew by His Holy Spirit and coming to walk with Him each day. That is the beginning, coming to walk in His Holy Spirit, daily. And the Bible tells us what is the outcome, that is to say what are the fruits we can expect walking with Him, Galatians 5:22, “The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self-control.” We are going to need a lot of love to make it thru to the end, we are going to need peace and patience too! Gentleness, kindness and self-control are going to be vital! Faith essential. And don’t forget about Joy! “The Joy of the Lord is our Strength!” If the Spirit of God leads you to peacefully assemble in His name, by all means Assemble! And Paul says, “All the more as you see the day approaching!” But be careful to avoid rioting and anything of the sort. These sorts of lawlessness and rebellion are unbecoming what it is to be the children of our Father, the King. There is a fine line between a peaceful assembly and a riot. God will give us various plans and strategies to navigate the mine-field that we are walking through in these last days, I will end with a story an Army-Ranger brother of mine told me that will encourage you. They were in Afghanistan and their unit was tasked with retrieving the crew of a downed helicopter behind enemy lines. They were flown in but had to trek down a road quite a distance to reach their fellow soldiers, many of whom were injured. They retrieved them and ran back to their helicopter without issue. Once back in and on their way to safety with their rescued comrades they learned that that road they ran down for more than a mile was littered with mines all throughout! They had no idea! Those soldiers with orders miraculously had ran through a mine field more than a mile long without hitting a single one!! What are the odds!? Whether we realize it or not we are just like those soldiers, with orders, running down a path, trying to get our brothers (and sisters) at arms home and the road is littered with mines, and traps, and snares “that could so easily beset us”. But whether we realize it or not, our God is with us, and He is Faithful. He can lead us around the mines or simply prevent them from going off! We are going to make it home. He is going to get us through this. But we must not lose ourselves along the way. We must retain our souls through this time of temptation and trial. We must not lose heart, we must not lose our focus, we must continue to the goal and save as many along the way as possible!! We must not grow weary in doing good We must not lose heart and allow the fears to overcome our love We must run to Him, to His Holy Spirit… to Jesus! We must run to Him but not only when the days are evil He must become our hiding place, our shelter from the storm and our rest But He must also be our celebration, our abundance and our Joy! In Him we will find peace for our weary souls And strength for the road ahead! But we will also find the Victory!! Amen…? Author Robert F. Kennedy Jr., writer and former advisor to President Bill Clinton Naomi Wolf, and other speakers addressed audiences at the Hillsdale College lecture series on “Big Pharma” from March 5 to 8 on the college’s Hillsdale, Michigan campus. “The pharmaceutical companies are among the worst offenders,” Bill Zeiser, Hilldale’s associate director of media relations and communications, told the audience. “Consider that last year the defense industry spent $124 million on lobbying,” said Zeiser. “In that same year, the pharmaceutical industry spent $373 million on lobbying.” ‘Greatest Crime Against Humanity’ Wolf and Kennedy gave scathing rebukes of the drug industry. Wolf said documents from Pfizer and its BioNTech subsidiary “contain evidence of the greatest crime against humanity in the history of our species.” Kennedy described the industry as “regulatory capture on steroids.” Brian T. Kennedy of The American Strategy Group gave a chilling account of what he characterized as China’s quest to be the “masters of the earth,” saying the nation is engaged in a silent war against the United States and that bioweapons and corruption of U.S. companies can enable China to achieve its goals. ‘Agency Capture on Steroids’ Robert Kennedy recounted how his legal career pivoted in 2005 from suing companies for pollution to activities for vaccine-injured children. Kennedy eventually founded the advocacy group Children’s Health Defense and last year released the bestselling book The Real Anthony Fauci. Kennedy discussed his reviews of scientific abstracts on vaccine safety at the behest of mothers of injured children. “I got about six inches down into the pile and I was just dumbstruck by this huge delta [difference] between what the public health agencies were saying the science said and what the actual peer-reviewed public science would say,” said Kennedy. Kennedy said regulators, including Francis Collins at the National Institutes of Health, would not discuss the scientific evidence with him. “I asked them about the science, and they were completely non-conversant with me,” said Kennedy. “They were just parroting this phrase: ‘safe and effective.’ They hadn’t read any of the actual science.” When Kennedy asked the regulators for details. they directed him to a pharmaceutical industry lobbyist, Kennedy told the audience. “I realized these guys don’t know what they’re doing or they’re lying,” said Kennedy. “I realized these agencies were agency capture on steroids.” ‘Conspiracy Theories … Become Reality’ Kennedy said the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory agency gets half its budget from the pharmaceutical industry, through user fees the companies pay the agency as they go through the drug approval process, and government researchers get royalties on drugs they help develop that make it to market. This gives regulators a perverse incentive to push drugs through the system, safe or not, Kennedy said. “If you work at the CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention], you don’t get promotions for finding problems with vaccines; you get promoted by increasing the uptake,” said Kennedy. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) until he left in December 2022, helped orchestrate this arrangement, Kennedy told the audience. “Fauci, at NIH, walks it through the regulatory process, the FDA and the CDC, where he has picked the members of the panels,” said Kennedy, pointing out Moderna on February 24 gave a $400 million check to the NIH for royalty fees. “I got de-platformed for saying NIH owns half of the Moderna vaccine,” said Kennedy. “So, all of my conspiracy theories end up having a three-month shelf life before they become reality.” ‘Massive Tranche’ of Pfizer Data Wolff discussed the so-called Pfizer documents: 450,000 items detailing the clinical trials of the mRNA COVID-19 shots ordered to be released under a Freedom of Information request to the FDA, which had intended to delay public access for 75 years. The documents were released in batches starting in January 2022, “a massive tranche of data because a document could be 10,000 pages,” said Wolff. ‘Nazi Medicine’ Wolff said the documents show the COVID-19 shots harmed people’s health, failed to stop or prevent viral transmission, and amounted to a “war against women’s ability to reproduce.” “This is a bioweapon,” Wolff told the audience. Wolff said BioNTech has a “memorandum of understanding” with a pharmaceutical company owned by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). This is a historic trip for the President of Taiwan. Many are very concerned that America and the west looks weak in Ukraine and would not risk a multi-front war if China invades Taiwan. Did you know the original Hippocratic oath would not allow a doctor to perform an abortion! That’s amazing!! How far our medical establishment has Swayed from their oath!!! Hippocrates made them swear that they wouldn’t give a poison, what is Chemotherapy? Or all the other drugs that harm the body in such a way!? How far our commercial and industrial medical establishment has gone from it’s founding fathers…

Friends, the whole of my life I have been a man of action! I have been called “A-Personality”, “Driven” and an “Overachiever”, and often. But the rub is that throughout my maturing I have come to realize hard-nosed, hard-driving leadership styles really only work in the short term – if at all. “The meek” do truly “inherit the earth” – before you judge allow me to explain: The essence of this life truly boils down to relationships. Marriage, Parenting, Work, Schooling, Politics, Geo-Politics and life with God – all relationships. I wish in high school someone had explained this simple but profound concept to me, “Robert, you are going to have to learn to get along with people, even people who are impossible to get along with… your relationships will make or break you…”. I like to believe I would have listened and avoided many years of challenges in the process. But our culture esteems “The Bad Boy”. It’s everywhere in our Western World: pop-culture movies, high school and college girls tend to chase after the tougher and even rude boys, in hip-hop and R&B, in 80’s Rock & Roll and yes, even in politics, we, as a culture remain drawn to the “Bad Boys”. The trouble with this in practice is that the “Bad Boys” tend to be loners, often arrogant and difficult to get along with, terrible at all things relationship. The tender-hearted, concerned and loving young man finds little place for himself in our 21st Century America. Hopefully this is changing with the younger generation? Honestly, I never thought of myself as strong - until I got married. My wife’s reactions quickly helped me to see that I had become way too dominate, forceful and practically impenetrable throughout my twenties and early thirties – but how to change? Changing this about me has not come without its challenges. To be transparent with you all, I still have a long-ways to go tenderizing my heart. But throughout my thirties and now in my forties I am acutely aware of what it looks like to win the “long-game” in relationships as opposed dominating and demanding my way thru life. For America, I fear we might win the battle but lose the war. What I mean is that while momentum is clearly with us at the moment, we have in fact convinced much of the nation of our cause and plight, and even recruited many to jump ship to join us - but what now? Isn’t that the question? We ended up with this amazing “Save America” and “MAGA” movement that I consider myself a part of and now we must ask ourselves the big question, “What kind of a movement will we be?” and “How will we be remembered?” Movements have come and gone throughout American history, some have lingered, I have met many old and die-hard hippies throughout my travels, for instance. Should the Lord tarry, what will the next generations have to say about us? Will we be remembered as the movement to truly Save America? Keeping China at bay, chasing down the evil-doers and traitors to our constitution, uniting the nation like never-before? Or something else? I am praying for the very best victories for America as we continue forward. I like Mike Lindell’s messaging on the subject. He often brings up Revival! Like a real spiritual revival! I enjoy those thoughts. Reviving the heart and soul and spirit of America! And isn’t that, in truth, what we are after? We all have policies we strongly believe in and we have policies we are willing to fight to the death over, most of us anyway… But it’s a difficult task ahead of us. I’m afraid that we are going to stumble into some sort of political and even fanatical, misplaced-zeal and accidentally crush the little that is left of the heart and soul of our nation. I see our movement going one of two directions at the moment. How to save a soul? This is truly The Question. How to Save the heart and soul of America. Consider it for a moment. How would you do it? Afterall, each of us has a role to play. During the Covid, lock-down riots I wrote about this some… I appreciated the way the President handled the situation with such poise and compassion. He could have really smashed those dissidents into subjection but he was so empathetic and even long-suffering towards them. I was very proud of President Trump throughout those times, very proud to call him my President. But during those times I wrote at length about “How to save a life”?? Our adversary is very real, very alive and active. He preys on the broken and hurting among us, they are his low-hanging fruit: people who come from broken families, extreme-poverty, fatherlessness, substance abuses, loveless environments, etc. - these who will either create generations of suffering and dis-ease or become some of the most empathetic and spiritually mature among us. But from what I have seen the overwhelming majority of these folks end up stuck in a cycle of despair and hopelessness, never breaking out of the sins of their fathers and the generations before them. And these are some of the most hurting of our American brothers and sisters. If we are going to Save America we will have to, at some point in time, start talking about the more vital long-game even as we solve the immediate problems ahead of us. What is broken in America is a spiritual problem at its core. Our enemy recruits broken and hurting people to fill his ranks. But those people are not the enemy, they are in fact broken and hurting people, people who are lost that need help finding their way. The movement that will Save America, in truth, will be the movement that chooses to go after these among us, chase them down, pioneer and invent creative and loving ways to not merely “Solve their problems” but “Win their hearts and minds”! Fear will win a following - without a doubt. Kindle a fire talking about the Communist CCP, our broken election system, the Big Tech monopolies controlling the information streams, the swamp who has been running DC, etc., we need to fix broken things. But we must be careful becoming a fire-breather, we must be tempered with this power, we might accidentally burn the whole house down!? It’s a complex and perilous time in our nation but love still wins the day. There is a kind of fire fueled from anger and vengeance and then there is a fiery love. The power of fear to sway a people is very real and will keep them in bondage to a certain agenda but the power of love will set men free, expose evil and change the hearts and minds of a nation – for generations! People will certainly fight for a cause when they get afraid enough – but people will live and die for a cause that they truly believe in when they know that they are safe and loved. Fear verses Love? Love wins. It may take longer but without a doubt, Love wins the war – and for generations. I think myself well aware of the urgency of the hour but the hour has been urgent since 9/11… wouldn’t you agree? Now, I agree that things have only degraded since 9/11 – I agree that the hour feels only more desperate but what if a movement of power, and love and a sound-mind (2 Tim 1:7) formed after 9/11? Instead of the constant fear-mongering and propaganda that we have grown almost desensitized to? The hour is urgent. The hour to Save America has never been more urgent and desperate but I conclude with this warning, “We are very close to winning a major battle but losing the nation, forever.” The spiritual revival must begin – I pray for it to come, daily. The battle lines have been drawn like never before. The warring sides are more committed to their cause, more determined and zealous than probably since Lincoln’s civil-war. Let me encourage us all as I close. If we are going to truly win the nation, and not just for a few years or a decade, we must do so by changing our hearts towards those we perceive as enemies. Most of the great speeches by US Presidents and our other nations leaders begin with, “My fellow Americans…” We must take the cause of “My Fellow Americans” to heart - even as we hunt down the evil-doers and labor to fix so much of what is broken in this nation we must remember the cause of our American brothers and sisters, from DC to Main Street, from the farmlands of our Great Plains to the inner-cities of Chicago and Los Angeles. We must fix what is broken and keep in mind what is broken the most lies within our own hearts. Maybe there was, maybe there wasn’t a time in our nation’s history wherein genuine “brotherly-love” was status quo? (We did name a city Philadelphia…) But we must endeavor to make loving our brother, even the brother who is at odds with us today, the end-game. Everything else in winning America is truly a distant second or third to reclaiming the morale and comradery of the American people! The power of fear and hatred will not get us there. The powers of darkness have not worked throughout the whole of recorded history but when a lover shows up on the scene, committed to his/her cause, it’s as if an atom-bomb goes off in time and a generation glimpses heavens light and remembers, there is a better way. It's easy to hate, to turn our words into violence and bitterness, it’s easy to fear, every one of us have lived too much of that life, but to truly believe!? to believe in love and God and hope, when everyone around us gives up the fight!? those are the world-changers, the history makers and the ones remembered for all eternity. Many of the greatest among us will never get the honor they deserve this side of heaven. The Bible even says so. But Great is our Reward in heaven! A little (love) kindling can set the whole world ablaze! I pray the new leaders in DC get to read this. I pray that even if this message is not read by many – the few who read it will spread this message far and wide throughout the country! When was the last time darkness ever defeated the light? That light has a name and we live it out by loving one another. Now all love comes from God – who also has a name – and I urge you all to pray tonight, even in your beds when you are alone, that the name of God and His light is revealed to you! We can see our nation saved but we can not do it alone. And we are not alone… There is a Living God in heaven who loves us… I pray we will all run to Him. An Introduction to my New Series - Before we jump on in to the series, I need to spell out a few things first. We must be cautious when dialoging about the things of evil. The Bible says, “Be wise concerning that which is good and innocent of that which is evil.” There is a wisdom in knowing your enemy but there is also a warning that comes with it. Some end up overwhelming themselves in meaningless debates and burdened with strange religious ideas that end up producing only doubt and fear. Let us now shine a light on the darkness with this series insomuch to push back the evil and encourage our faith! The Bible remains true, the Word of God is true and in it there is no lie. Many of us will be encouraged and set free of our fears throughout this series. The plans and purposes of the devil end up, in a way, being used by God. It’s a mystery watching this whole drama unfold upon the earth but truly it’s the greatest story ever written! Now, there is no darkness in God whatsoever: there is no evil, iniquity or unrighteousness found in Him. God is holy. How someone so holy can create anything of darkness and corruption is mysterious. But the mystery starts to be understood in the concept of “Free-Will” or I like to say even better, “Unique-Will”. God has His own will, His own unique-will, separate and distinct from us. Evil too. Evil has its own separate and distinct will apart from us. And understanding our freedom to choose is the start of unpacking this great and ancient mystery upon the earth. Throughout my life I was taught that angels do not have their own will to choose. But the Holy Scriptures do not support that idea. It was written, “Do you not know that we shall judge the angels?” (I Corinthians 6:3) And then we see the Devil, who was Lucifer, with the ability to choose to war against God but originally he was perfect in his ways, “You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created until iniquity was found in you.” (Ezekiel 28:15) If some saints are going to judge the angels, then angels too must have a will of their own to choose rightly or otherwise, or why else would we judge them? Then we see the Devil, when he was Lucifer, having been perfect until his heart started to turn against God. The great and profound drama that is playing out upon the earth, most simply can be defined as all of these unique souls and wills making choices, whether or not the follow God (angels included). And then God allows us all to choose. Certainly He could have made our souls different, He could have fashioned us in such a way that there was nothing else to choose but Him. Even in the garden there was a tree that wasn’t to be eaten – God gave them a way out, a way to choose something other than Him. But Why? Why would God do such a thing? Why would a good and loving God give us the temptation of iniquity in the first place?? To understand God is to understand that He is perfect love. The scripture declares it over and again, “God is love” (I John 4:8 and 16). That is WHO He is. He is not judgment, wrath, condemnation or even justice. God is love. At the very essence of His being is love. And we have spent the centuries and millennia and generations trying to comprehend this – trying to know our God and His love. And we absolutely have an enemy. There is an enemy to perfect love. The Bible says, “Perfect love casts out all fear.” (I John 4:18) So the love of God has an enemy but God remains love. The Bible is clear that there is both light and darkness in creation. Jesus says, “I am the light of the world!” (John 8:12) But the Bible also explains, “If that light that is in you be darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matthew 6:23) So there is light and darkness, blessing and cursing and we are told, “Choose you this day who you will serve…” (Joshua 24:15) and again, “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that you and your generations may live!” (Deuteronomy 30:19). We must hold to the light of the world and those things of the light: life, love, the ways of God – we must reject the things of darkness that we and our families might live! These things remain mysterious. On what day was the darkness created? We see the light coming forth on day one but when was the darkness created? So many mysteries in our God and His creation. We understand so very little. But we know this, “God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.” (I John 1:5). What if darkness was never actually created? This is a lot to consider… But the simple question remains, what portion of the darkness do we want to inherit? What union has the light with the darkness? (II Corinthians 6:14) But God allows men (and angels) to choose. Perfect love always gives a choice. Always. And His allowance is not passive as if to say He is careless and un-invested but His love, for it to be perfect, must give everyone this freedom. God’s heart grieves when His people choose to destroy themselves and others. And He pursues His creation, we who are His children, He pursues us and He is relentless in His pursuit – much like the way a man in love would pursue a wife. The lover must not trample her will and must be gentle and patient in wooing her to himself – yet still he must pursue her. Perfect love is also alive, purposeful, emboldened and desirous insomuch that for love to be perfect it must also want to reveal itself. There is therefore little-to-no passivity in love, but love must be patient. Without giving us the ability to choose how would God ever know if we truly loved Him? Or what if He forced us to love Him? And so the great drama of life and death unfolds upon the earth as men and angels choose their allegiances: either their devotion and love for God or their rejection and striving against the Father of Lights. And our God remains sovereign. He has drawn the lines and boundaries of this evil, this devil. While He allows free-will to unfold upon the earth, He remains very active, very engaged and intimately involved with every bit of the affairs of men. All these things His Word and His own Hands have made and there was nothing that was made that He did not create (John 1). And so the great mystery of God continues to reveal itself upon the earth. --------------------------------------------------------- Many of us grieved for Judas as we read his story, betraying the Son of Glory for money and then choosing to end his life (exactly as the scripture foretold). But Jesus also says of this man, “It would have been better that he was never born…” Is it righteous for us to grieve for the destruction of iniquity and corruption? This is a very involved discussion. There is a kind of righteousness in a rejection but also a hatred of those things that are evil. It’s the evil that is destroying our world, our friends, our families, our loved ones… This darkness has been ruining everything since the very start and the prince over the things of darkness is called Satan, the Dragon and the Devil. We grieve because of this evil, without this corruption upon the earth there would be nothing to grieve. Seems awfully reasonable to me that we should have some negative feelings towards what is destroying everything good and pleasing to God but remember the things of which I write to you know are spiritual in nature. If men would only hold to the light and reject those things of darkness. If we would only choose the light and life and truth of God rejecting these things of iniquity and corruption - It would truly be heaven upon the earth! It would be the kingdom of God! But men and angels choose otherwise, to war against the goodness of God and His love. But Why? Why fight against perfect love?? I don’t know that we will ever understand why we at times choose to war against perfection…. God save us. The best news is, evil and this darkness both have an expiration date! God will not abandon us to live this way forever. Death was a mercy for us. Without death we would have lived in this corruption indefinitely. And the death of this world will come. He will put an end to this world but patiently, wanting that none would perish. The kingdom of God will come to the earth! And we who love our God and His goodness, will celebrate eternally, we will celebrate together and all things will be made new! Our enemy knows this. Our enemy knows the glorious new-beginning that awaits the children of God and he is prepared to steal, kill and destroy until the very last day. But he is created. He has limits and boundaries to what God will allow him to destroy. God has given us a choice, two kingdoms: one kingdom of light, the other of darkness and corruption. “No man can serve two masters…” we are told. We can not be both children of the light and also the children of corruption. So we “Choose you this day who [we] will serve…” The deception of our enemy has only seemed to increase upon the earth but that is only because men are choosing this darkness. God will allow men to fall victim to their own delusions but only because He gives us all, the will to choose. Rejecting the light is also to reject the truth. Many willfully reject His truth and worse yet, they lie and deceive many into their delusion and destruction. “May the light of God through His Son Jesus Christ shine on their wicked plots and plans and remain a shelter from the storm and a hiding place in the time of trouble.” There remains nothing to fear for the children of God in Christ Jesus. The light always defeats the darkness. It is an absolute certainty. Turn on a light in a dark room, see the darkness flee There is not even a moment of doubt The darkness must flee from the light! Now pray, Children of the Light That many would come to this salvation in our God and Father Time is shorter now We see all these things coming to pass Pray that many would be saved. Amen.
