[I will put extra notes in brackets to help explain things where needed, since I usually just glance at the notes and fill in the gaps]   ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////   January 25, 2026   Connecting Hebrews 6:1 and Hebrews 12:1   Hebrews is a book one can study and be either a mile wide and a foot deep or a foot wide and a mile deep.   There is a rhythm in the book—a pattern that leads from the Old Testament satisfactory to the New Testament superior, from growing up to going out, from learning the basics to living out our faith and hope, from foundations to finish lines.   Two verses perfectly capture this simple, yet profound, depth:   Hebrews 6:1 — “Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,.”   Hebrews 12:1 — “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,”   These are not two separate commands.   Together, they focus on keeping us moving forward.   You grow and train so you can cross the finish line of your race.   ABCs – Reading [we learn the ABCs so we can read and learn more]. Multiplication tables – the language of math, science, and more. Understanding the created universe. [We learn the basics of math so we can study and learn much more about our Universe and gain a glimpse into the mind of God, using numbers, the universal language]   Mastering Fundamentals – gaining expertise.   Training – developing endurance.   Professionals always practice; they remain focused on fundamentals – but never stop there. We must never be content to remain where we are. KEEP MOVING FORWARD.   1. Hebrews 6:1 — God Calls Us to Grow Up   The writer of Hebrews admonishes believers who have been in the faith long enough to be teachers, yet still need milk – the basics. And he says:   “It’s time to move forward. It’s time to grow up (MATURE).”   Not in shame.   Not in condemnation.   But as an invitation to each of us, like a teacher pushing a student or a coach pushing an athlete to achieve more.   There is, though, a hint of disappointment. [Like any parent who wants more for their children]   Why does God call us to maturity?   Spiritual infancy cannot carry us forward to a better understanding of and relationship with God. The more we mature, the more we should be amazed at what God has already done and will do. THEN WE CAN SHARE.   Because the battles ahead require more than the basics. Use the fundamentals to grow, then keep growing. [Our nation’s greatest storm is not a snow storm, it’s the storm that follows the path of the same evils nations in history have suffered through - communism, socialism, naziism, hedonism, paganism, and so many more]   Because God has more for you than the foundation you started on.   A foundation is essential—but no one builds a foundation to admire it.   A foundation exists for something greater. Imagine putting down a cornerstone and stopping.   West Yellowstone. [In West Yellowstone, there is a 20-year old foundation that sits there and degrades; it was meant for so much more.]   Hebrews 6:1 is God saying:   “I built you for more than the starting line.”   2. Hebrews 12:1 — God Calls Us to Run   -The writer moves from the classroom to the track.   From instruction to action. Knowledge is not enough; we need to apply what we know of God to life. We must move.   Act on faith -Learn the colors of your parachutes!!!! ---- Be willing to be looked at as crazy because we are living out a radical faith. [My bride and I got used to jumping off cliffs in faith; we view it as constantly looking up to see what color parachute God is providing each time we jump. Over the course of a military career and 31 years of marriage, we've grown used to it and tend to jump a lot faster.]   “Let us run with perseverance the race set before us.”   -Not a casual jog.   -Not a sprint of excitement with a fast burnout.   -This is a race of endurance. Imagine a cross-country race that lasts a lifetime.   What keeps us from running well and to our maximum potential?   -Weights that slow us.   -Sin that entangles us.   (Promised Land – Physical, Unbelief – Spiritual) [Just as the Israelites sinned and could not enter a physical promised land of Canaan for 40 years, when we commit the sin of unbelief, we suffer the spiritual consequences by failing to reach maturity - our potential.]   -Voices that discourage us.   -Wounds that distract us.   -Getting stuck in tradition (aka tribal lore). As if they have spiritual value.   -Turning churches into mausoleums, museums, or monuments. When they should act like God’s word in action (sharper than any two edged sword) Hebrews 4   Lay them aside. Not because God is angry—but because they are slowing you down. You are meant for so much more.   Take off the training weights. (Wrists, Ankles, Bats, etc.)   God is not trying to restrict us.   He is trying to release us.   He is like a parent who wants to see a child succeed.   3. The Connection?? — You Can’t Run Without Growing first.   Hebrews 6:1 and Hebrews 12:1 are two sides of the same coin, or both wings of the same bird.   Hebrews 6:1 — Preparation   Grow. Mature. Strengthen your faith. Classroom of Life.   Build spiritual muscle. Church gym time. (Bible, Prayer, Study, Life experience [parachutes practice leading to endurance])   Hebrews 12:1 — Live life   Run. Endure. Persevere.   Live in obedience, keep moving forward. Footsteps in the sand.   Maturity equips you for endurance.   You don’t train for the sake of training.   You train so you can endure - crawl, walk, run – even be carried.   The world is full of people who start.   God is raising up people who finish.   Picture the movie “Facing the Giants” and a coach who pushes a player beyond what they know they can accomplish. Take off the blindfold and run YOUR race with faith in your heavenly coach.     4. The Focus — Fix Your Eyes on Jesus. Head up, not down. [In the video he is down and blindfolded for a purpose. We need to stand and fix on Christ with eyes wide open.]   Both passages ultimately point to the same anchor: Jesus Christ.   He is the foundation of Hebrews 6.   He is the finish line of Hebrews 12.   He is there, not to see IF we win, but to celebrate with us WHEN we win.   We are assured of victory when we are in Christ. Run the race knowing this is a fact. Confident and bold.   Don’t look left or right and compare your life to anybody else’s. RUN YOUR RACE ONLY. [We each must follow God’s will and not look at the circumstances of others’ lives. Being rich or poor, healthy or wealthy means nothing. Being poor is not a punishment from God any more then being rich is necessarily a blessing. Follow God, whether in rags or riches]   Jesus is the One who:   Grows you   Strengthens you   Leads you   Runs with you   Encourages you   Disciplines you   Waits for you   We don’t mature by trying harder.   We mature by drawing nearer, as Hebrews reads, we have direct access, we don’t need to pray to anybody but CHRIST alone. [No sinful man can hear our sins and do anything about them, no fellow sinful can forgive us. Read Hebrews and know this is a major point of the entire book.]   We don’t endure by just gritting our teeth.   We endure by fixing our gaze on CHRIST, knowing the victory is won.   This finish line isn’t one we seek to cross first, but simply to cross one day when God calls us home. We are all winners; we all get the ultimate trophy. All guaranteed by Christ’s work on the Cross.   If you don’t know Jesus Christ though……….this victory is one you will not experience. Seek Christ, reach out to a friend if you have questions - do it now.   5. What are we to do?   God is telling us to-----   Grow up.   Run with perseverance.   Run with focus.   Run with Jesus.   The world doesn’t need more Christians who merely begin.   The world needs believers who finish.   He is calling us into maturity—so we can run with endurance—and finish the race marked out for us. And hear those most precious of words: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”   Closing Prayer   “Lord, move us beyond the basics and into maturity. Strengthen our hearts for the race ahead. Help us to fix our eyes on you—our foundation and our finisher. Let US – fear not, and have great courage. And by Your Spirit, help us run with perseverance until the day we see You face to face. Amen.”

We live in an era of information warfare. A time such as this can not be compared with any point in history that we know of, Period. And this is highly concerning but also simply the reality of the world that we live in. It's maybe impossible to know what stories are propaganda, and then also impossible to know the reason that the propaganda was put out in the first place. For instance, someone was very purposeful in putting out piles of stories about the earth being flat. There were stories so compelling all over the internet, suddenly a large percentage of the world was again questioning everything we know or thought to be true. Many among the flat earth movement are still convinced that the rest of us are simply deceived. With these things in mind. We live in also the most complex and rapidly-changing time ever recorded in history. The intention of American Revival Press is to provoke our reader to first and foremost Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Secondly our intention is to inspire our reader further into the word of God and into prayer. And finally to convince our reader that God has a good plan for us in these last days. Just as was the space race of the late 1950's - 1970's, AI is becoming the newest National Security phenomenon. The powers of the world are pouring untold fortunes into this newest arms race, to ensure their culture and governments survival. It would be much easier for us, America, to take the moral high-ground and refuse AI altogether but our competitors (to say it gently) would not be following suit. All High-Technology truly fits into this discussion. Our problems with Transhumanism, our problems with Genetic Modification (in general), our problems with Big Pharma, our problems with lots of advanced weaponry... if we, as a nation, refuse to get involved with many of these technologies we may encourage an adversary nation to outmaneuver us, even growing so powerful that we have no defense against them. AI is going to cause our world great and unimaginable harm, if not today eventually . It is encouraging that there are a few speaking out, giving warnings, trying to help "humanity" in this "transition" as they often put it. But truly, none of these prognosticators have any idea what will become of us opening this "Pandora's Box" kind of High-Technology . What makes AI unbelievably deceptive is its ability already to seem to outsmart and out perform men in general and yet, AI will always be totally and utterly devoid of the Spirit . And this conversation will get a little ethereal but that's now the world we live in. (We will write more about AI. This is more or less the beginning of a discussion that will continue.) AI will never have a soul or Spirit of God and therefore it will always, let me repeat ALWAYS Default to a Godless or even an Antichrist agenda. We, as a society, are truly playing with fire with AI. If we, those High-Tech captains of industry, can keep control of AI and make sure it always serves us (and not the other way around) then there would be hope. But the story is just not that simple. They say, one bad apple spoils a bunch...? Well, prepare yourself men and women of God, because this is happening, it's going to happen very fast and it's going to be like watching a Science Fiction movie, only in real life. But God, our God, will get us thru. We know because of these things unfolding, Jesus is coming very soon. As I close, remember, THEY DON'T KNOW EXACTLY HOW AI WORKS!!? Frightening but true! Again, another science fiction piece of news to be reporting on. We have been following this unfolding drama over the years from afar. Well, technically there is plenty to fear but "we" who are the people of God, have nothing to fear. Without God, in these last days, there is PLENTY to fear, things never before considered to fear, with all that they are doing with High-Technology, Transhumanism, Genetic Engineering, Weapons of Mass Destruction, wars, etc. But those to whom the word of God has been revealed, we should live free and full of the love of God! It's very hard to believe so much of what "They" say. We know for certain that we are lied to, and if "they" are convinced that deceiving their own population is the way to go? How will we ever come to trust "them" again? This is a very difficult conversation, because, how do we know what to believe when we can't trust those who have rule over us? What we believe, who we are, what we are, it will all be tested. This is the time of shaking that Hebrews 12 prophesied would come. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) was invented by a group of scientists under the ground in Switzerland. It is a 17-mile underground loop, wherein these scientists speed up particles at or perhaps faster than the speed of light and ram them into each other... what could possibly go wrong!? (I jest.) Well, thousands of scientists over the years have been involved with the LHC since its creation around 2010 and slowly they admit to what they are doing. I say, "slowly" because there have been many times they almost caused extremely dangerous outcomes and yet did not report on it right away. From what I can discern, these scientists are capable of completely destroying the physics in which we live, doing things like: ripping a hole on the space-time continuum, accidentally creating a black-hole (remember, it is theorized that black holes suck into them everything of matter nearby and we have no idea where all that matter goes. Remember, the earth and humans are also matter), the LHC has already created energies by smashing these particles together that have never before been created on earth! This world of High-Technology in which we live is not merely concerning, it is exactly what the Bible predicts will end the world and bring about the return of Christ! Here is a scripture I have never heard preached before, except by myself: "And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth ." Revelation 11:18 What do they (or we) do in the end to " Destroy the Earth "?? I began this news update talking about national security and how we, as a nation are being dragged into these horrible "achievements" whether we like it or not, in part because of national security. But there is another even more evil side to the story. High-Technology makes a small group of people, unbelievably rich and powerful. People like Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos... companies like BlackRock, Vangaurd, Goldman Sacks, etc. they all have tremendous vested interest into furthering these High-Technology advancements, because of riches... and they are doing so without much regard to the world they are about to create/destroy for their children and grandchildren. Nothing High-Technology has touched has really worked out very well for mankind. Nothing. And it's about to get much much worse. (As I sit here typing to you all on my laptop, with my smart phone sitting just next to me, I am a bit hypocritical, I realize.) These are the final years of the earth. This generation literally has front row seats to watching the end, and many of us are going to be alive to see the sky split open and Jesus coming out of heaven riding on a white horse, with His army!! Other News Headlines August 18th 2025: President Trump is laboring for peace. His talks with Putin are publicly reported on to be productive and they are reporting that this could bring about an end to the war in Ukraine! (Obviously we would all welcome it!) Hamas still has about 49 hostages believed to be in Gaza. While the world criticizes every move Israel makes, they skillfully omit this fact and many more. Hamas could have ended the war a long time ago, but they clearly do not want to. And Israel will continue to fight until they get all their people back. Iran: Iran has a water crisis now. Since the 12-day war ending, it is surprising to see so many Iranian officals still threatening the US and Israel. The news doesn't report on this. Their "Supreme Leaders" remains in hiding. This conflict is not over. Mark my words. Many in Iran will not give up, their hatred and desire for revenge is just that terrible. The midterms are slowly coming. There is a big battle now for redistricting. Its going to be a wild wild ride this soon approaching midterm season. The President vows to clean up America's crime ridden cities. Reports are coming out that he intends to deploy National Gaurd into several, as many as 5 US Cities. Thus far the National Gaurd has only bee deployed to Washington DC. Illegal border crossings are at an all-time low! The US Military is now at our border protecting the United States from illegal immigration. There is still no solution for our nations 37 trillion, and growing, debt problem. Tarriffs are already working but the best reports coming out are that it will be more than a decade to pay off our debt even still. Assuming all other Presidents after President Trump follow his lead with tarriffs and his economic plan, still it will be closer to 12 years until the debt is paid. July 18th 2025 1. The End of Canada? The news coming out of West Canada is amazing, surprising, hopeful!! The Canadian people are completely fed up with their socialist/marxist national government and they have taken a stand. They are ready to leave Canada - to join America!!? Is that really happening!? And it is happening again as archeologists continue unearth the entire Biblical story of Israel's ancient and Wealthy, King Solomon. They found what are more than likely his mines in South Africa, they found piles of evidence for his temple, just where it is supposed to me and archeologists have now uncovered what seems to be his final resting place!! This is absolutely concerning scientists and citizens alike. The largest earthquake swarm every recorded, since they have been recording such things, is happening right now in The Pacific Northwest! Remember, some of the worlds most powerful volcanoes are right here in the good 'ol US-of-A. Scientists are incredibly worried that the region underground is preparing for a very large scale volcanic eruption. Remember how many people live near Mount Rainer south of Seattle, Washington. Hoarding Treasure like a Dragon by Robert Anthony July 11th 2025 (Without reading the first two parts much of this is going to be without context.) The Great Division has begun. What Jesus called, the separation of the sheep and the goats (Matthew 25) but John simple says, "Come out of Her". Perhaps there will be nations that will escape this beast? While she defiles the world perhaps some (sheep) nations will escape? There are scriptures that allude to this, "And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it." (Rev 21:24). Do some nations escape the wrath the this wicked Babylon brings unto the world? I really have so many things to speak and to declare to you, precious saints. My heart is so full of His love for you - we must pray that God gives me the time and the place to share these things in particular. Just as God declares to Daniel, "Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand." (Daniel 12:10). How are we to Live in These Last Days? Jesus teaches us, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.." (Matt 6:24) This wicked thing: Mystery, The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth, Babylon, she seduces the world into her trap, with lusts and fornications - and yet her works have already been judged - Revelation 14, 17 and 18 say over again that her judgment comes, "Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters.." (Rev 17:1). This wicked spirit and her city will receive their judgment in a day, in a moment, in an hour - God has already ruled on this. How then ought we to live now? Jesus tells us, "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?" (Matt 6:25-34) "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day  is  the evil thereof." We are told, "Do not store up treasures on the earth..." (Matthew 6:17-21) "...but store up for yourselves treasure in heaven!" and "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." This is hard saying for everyone among us who loves the temporal pleasures of this world, Babylon's rewards, but for the lovers of God, this is freedom and hope and our greatest joy! Because we believe the word of God, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." (I Cor. 2:9) And, just as we have read, we can not love God and the lustful pleasures of this whore, Babylon... Look again to what Paul taught us, "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into  this  world,  and it is  certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and  into  many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things..." (Paul wrote to his protege Timothy, I Timothy 6:6-11) The Judgment of the Great Whore The time we have entered is commonly referred to as "The Days of Vengeance" (Luke 21:22) wherein must everything be fulfilled . God must shake our world to get our attention, but not only the earth... "Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I will shake not the earth only, but also heaven." (Hebrews 12:25-29) And the writer of Hebrews explains to us that God is shaking insomuch that only what is built upon God's kingdom might remain, even unto eternity. He is preparing the world for His soon and impending return. All eyes are on Israel. This wicked Babylon will eventually turn her sights against God's most precious nation and people. It is a certainty. But again, just as God has done throughout time and memorial, The Lord of Hosts will come and save His precious portion . And according to Revelation, the whole world will see: "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." (Rev 1:7) But the world will mourn and travail, we are seeing the birth pangs unfolding before our very eyes. Paul told us of these things, "For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now." (Romans 8:18-25) The creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God upon the earth! The Great Apostasy has Already Begun But where are the ministers? Where are the men of God to prophesy and command these things unto the body of Christ? We have also been warned about this, have we not? Paul prophesied to Timothy of this, saying, "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils..." (I Tim 4:1+) Paul again warned us of these last days to Timothy, saying, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (2 Tim 3:1-5+) Who washes your feet with the Living Word of God, precious saints? Who among you declares the things of heaven and warns you of the lusts of this world? What teachers among you are content with the clothes on their backs and the food that is in their bellies? Endure sound doctrine, brothers and sisters, do not run after the lusts and seductions of Babylon finding for yourselves teaches to itch your ears , saying merely the things your flesh wants to hear rather than the truth from your Father (2 Tim 4:2-5) - of such men we have been warned (2 Peter 2 and Jude) but God knows how to deliver the righteous out of afflictions . There are so many things I want to say to you now precious saints, and I will if the Lord permits me. I think I'm going to have to write a fourth part of this series. I did not expect to say much of this. Our Mourning Turned to Joy! If we are grieved by the unrighteousness we are seeing spread throughout Christianity, imagine how the Lord is grieved, who gave His life for His Church. But He knows those who are His, just as He knows the imposters. Our grieving will not remain forever. Our sorrow and vexing will be done away with soon enough, just as righteous Lot was removed but got to see the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah in their iniquity. Do you hear yet the Good News in the things that I wrote unto you? There is a warning but also a promise for the Lord knows how to deliver the righteous out from among the wicked! Babylon will be a plague unto you but the Lord knows how to mark out His elect from among the rest. Remember the Passover? The blood of the Lamb marked His elect and the curse did not find them. There is yet a rest for the people of God, whose love is in their Father, who have rejected the temporal pleasures of this Babylon. Has not He provided for you, and abundantly!? There is a rest for the people of God. The rewards still come thru faith in obedience to His word. One will say they have faith yet without works, without submitting to His word and yet another will show his true faith through his good works, obeying the Word of the Lord. God is not a punisher but a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him! Is not His Word to be desired more than the finest gold and the greatness of Babylon? Seek after the thing most precious. There is a rest for the people of God. Looking neither to the left nor to the right, looking not to the wind or the waves, listening not to the thunders, fearing not the lightning, we continue to walk with Jesus thru the storm, seeking His face, unafraid, finally able to rest.
