The Spirit Destroying Everything (Part Two)

I am praying while writing that the Lord would direct me into how to communicate these holy things. And they are holy. I am writing to you of the kingdom of God.
Jesus said, "And then this gospel of the kingdom shall be proclaimed to all the world and then the end will come." (Matt 24:14) And if "this" gospel is to be preached that means there must be another gospel also being proclaimed around the world...
The Judgement of False Religion
Many of you know this story and it lead to me writing a book, "Jesus did not start a Religion". The Lord woke me up in 2002 at about 2am and spoke to me, "Robert, I never started a religion." I was in my early 20's and much to young to grasp the entirety of such revelation! It would be years and years of journeying with my God as I came to understand what He was revealing to me.
As we continue to unpack the Mystery that is Babylon and that Whore who goes on to defile all the earth, let's do a quick history lesson.
Let me start by reminding my reader of my intense love for God's Jewish people! I have lived in Israel, twice. I have been to Yeshiva. I have attended services with Orthodox and Ultra-Orthodox Jews. I have had quite literally a lifetime of experiences with God's Jewish people.
As Christians, we assume that the Jewish religion adheres to the law of Moses, that they follow Torah and the prophets of old. We assume that they are seeking after holiness and a closeness to God and His Ruach Ha'Kodesh (Holy Spirit). The overwhelming majority of our American view of what is modern Judaism is way off.
I had a very revealing several hours long meeting with an Ultra-Orthodox Rabbi while attending his Yeshiva. (A Yeshiva is Rabbi school. It's a very long story what I was doing there.) I presented several scriptures to him out of the Torah, trying to understand modern Judaism and this was his response, "Well, we are taught that the law of Moses and Torah is simply too deep and mysterious for us to understand, and it has to be interpreted for us."
The law of Moses is too deep and mysterious for the Jews to understand? Then what on earth are they reading and following as their holy scriptures!? (This might be hard for my reader to grasp. Trust me, what I am saying is absolutely the truth.) Believe it or not the Jews are being taught daily that they can not understand the scriptures given to them by God. And that's where things start to go downhill.
Even during Jesus' time there was another text that the Jews were already following, even before the actual Bible itself. This is called the Talmud. And don't get me wrong here. I'm not even implying the Talmud is all bad but to reveal the truth of what happened to Judaism we must tell the truth. The Jews are simply not following the word of God, but instead they are following this other set of writing given to them from their Rabbi's of old.
It is amazing to me that Jesus never confronted this directly. He was very impressive in everything that He did. But indirectly Jesus confronted this issue time and time again, "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." (Matt. 15:9). What was Jesus referring to? What was He talking about? "The commandments of men" is an indirect judgment of their own law, in opposition to the law of Moses - this was a judgment of their Talmud and they were all well aware.
Matthew 16:12, Matthew 23 and John 7 are all judgments Jesus' brought against the Jews religion.
Where did the law of Moses call for the synagogue system of worship? Where ever in the whole of scripture did the word of God come to a prophet calling for such system of worship to be established? This gets even deeper but I am not going to get into this now, but later.
Do you know the other name for the Talmud of Jesus' time? Do you know where it was written!? The very obvious answer is, of course, Babylon. This is the revealing of the hijacking of the first covenant as was given to Moses by God Himself, atop Sinai.
The Jews went into Babylon, into captivity and commingled their holy and sacred law of Moses and first covenant together with the pagan and broken religion of Babylon. This fact is just as irrefutable, as it is grievous. The Jews almost entirely lost themselves during their 70 year Babylonian captivity.
The Jewish religion on the earth today is the Babylonian-Jewish religion - it is not what was given by God to Moses atop Sinai. It's very sad for me to write these words. And this is the religion that the Messiah was up against throughout His ministry, and this is the religion that killed the Son of God.
To Be Set Apart
But Revelation doesn't talk of false religion in particular. Or does it? Revelation 17 and 18 really defines a economic system and the judgment of the Whore's economy - but there is basically no reference to a Babylonian religion, per se. However, all throughout John's book of Revealing there are references to false religion and ungodly worship.
John introduces a character the whole of scripture doesn't directly define named, "The false prophet". Well, in order to have a false "prophet" one would need a false religion. But there is even more, Revelation chapter 2 John sees false religion having crept into the churches and he writes of it plainly, "eating things sacrificed to idols" etc. He speaks of Jezebel having crept into the church, etc. For more on false religion in the churches in the last days in particular, read Revelation 2 and 3.
But other apostles and prophets had much to say also on this false (even Babylonian) religion found throughout the churches in the last days. Paul writes to Timothy about it in great detail in both of his letters. Peter has much to say about this, especially in his second book. Jude, practically the whole of Jude is a judgment of false religion, specifically in the last days!
It is a foregone conclusion that in the end, this false (Babylonian-spirited) religion will come to defile the whole world together with the other, various deceptions of Babylon. This evil spirit that deceived the Jews in antiquity will very clearly work among the second covenant believers, Jesus' Holy Church, to defile, to deceive and mislead. John's book of Revealing warns us about this in detail.
Look around you, Holy Saints, is not God bringing judgment upon this broken religion even as I am writing unto you? (It's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.). But it is God's desire to bless men! That His Church would know Him, and live with Him, receiving the blessing of Abraham and giving that blessing out to the whole world! And yet how few will come?
Jezebel is in our congregations. This Whore of Babylon, this evil and feminine spirit moves among us, Holy Church, to seduce God's own children away from Him, and into perdition. We have been warned. The word of God says, "Come Away".
The word Holy translates literally, "To Be Set Apart".
In All the Madness, There is Rest
Some of you might find value in studying these things more. The Jews lost their calendar in Babylon, they lost their tabernacle system of atonement altogether, they lost many of the most holy things given to them by God atop Sinai, perhaps never to regain them? The religion that emerged after Babylon is the religion that has persisted among the Jews these 2500 years. But that was not the only tragedy of Babylon for the Jewish people.
Perhaps the most terrible loss and tragedy of the Jews' time in Babylon was that so few returned home once they were set free.
These things are chronicled in detail throughout scripture. The Jews were all but lost in Babylon because when Cyrus the Great finally released them and let them return to their nation, how few returned!?
The pleasures and lusts of Babylon were simply too great for many of those Jews. A life of warring, labor, strife and uncertainty was all many of those Jews could see and choosing between that and Babylon, the overwhelming majority stayed behind - holding to the riches and comforts of this life and yet denying their eternal heritage with their God and Father.
In the last days it is revealed to us that most of the world, Jews and Christians alike, will remain with Babylon, even when it is time to return home. Reread scriptures like Revelation 13. The Bible prophesies that the whole world will go whoring after this false (Babylonian) religion, but why? Because like in the ancient times, Babylon offered it's citizens an earthly wealth, and comforts, and lustful pleasures, and temporal delights. But God tells us over and again, "This world is not our home".
Open your eyes, saints of God, the Babylonian take-over of the whole world is happening right before our very eyes. While this generation may push it back, even keeping it at bay for a season, eventually a generation will come who will partner with this Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth, they will turn their backs entirely on God and then the end will come, in force.
It is happening even while I am writing to you now. The word of God declares, "Come out from among them and be ye separate." You are a holy people, who were created in God's own image! Your inheritance was never of this world. Your home is heavenward and in eternal places. This is who you were created to be, men and women of God but you (we) must choose. "Choose ye this day whom you will serve."
A glorious ending is coming for the children of God. It's an absolute promise. His word is more absolute than any absolution one might consider. Will the sun rise tomorrow? Will the tides rise and fall? Does the rain come in its season? Does wind blow to where it will and yet none can harness the wind. The word of God will not be broken. God is coming for His own - and we will be changed and finally restored to eternity with our Father!
We can rest, family of God. We can rest. They are given the freedoms to choose. And we are given this freedom to choose. We have chosen Christ! We have chosen God's own Messiah, His Salvation! And now we can rest. God's Spirit will work thru us, God's power will move thru us as we surrender but we can still rest. (Read Hebrews 3 an 4). But many will not rest because of their unbelief. The Spirit will blow us as He will (John 3:8) but we can remain in His rest. The Good Works of God will manifest in our lives and we can yet live at rest. We will shine the glory of our Father and it remains His Light to shine - we are merely those precious stones to radiate His glory!
Rest Precious Saints of God, your reward is coming. Do not be afraid. God loves you. Bless what God blesses, come away from everything of wickedness and iniquity, you are salt and the light of the world!
