The Best Message For These Last Days

By Robert Anthony

March 25th 2026

I think we have been duped.  We have been convinced that the end of all things is a loss.  We read all the worst parts of the Bible and we are missing the Huge Glaring Good News staring us right in the face!!  It’s all over!  The suffering is over.  The pain is over.  The unfairness, the injustice, the sickness and disease, the sadness and sorrow: it’s all over.

We, even as Christians, tend to read the worst parts of the Bible and fear the things that are to come rather than celebrating that we are finally about to be restored, face to face with our God and Father, and Savior!

For years, I have been watching my fellow believers coming up with all these strategies for survival: buying gold and silver, building shelters, storing up food and supplies for the terrible times to come, etc.  I have been watching about 15-20 years of this.  I can tell you about friends who sold all their real estate for millions and bought ranches and are at present, building their end-times-survival-ranch or farm.

First of all, none of those things will work. Reread large swaths of scripture that explain to us very clearly, the last days will reach everywhere, every nation, every city and town and people group.  And none will escape these times of trial and temptation. (Amos 5:18-20). So on the one hand it’s pointless to try and create our own end times survival strategies.

On the other hand, God promises to get us thru!  Whatever you believe about the rapture and tribulation it really doesn’t matter, whether you are pre-trib, mid-trib or post-trib, God still gets His children thru to the end.  Jesus said, “Unless those days be shortened no flesh would be saved…” God is telling us, “I shortened those days so that My Children (those Elect) would make it to the end!”

We fear death.  We shouldn’t be we do.  What an incredible time to be martyred, at the end!  The days leading up to the coming of Christ, and we could be the preachers of righteousness!?  Reread the Bible, the martyrs of Christ get special accolades in eternity!!  But we, even as Christians, live so afraid.

I keep reading Psalm 37.  I think it’s been my favorite scripture for a few years now.  I’ve probably read it to my kids a dozen times (I’ll probably read it again to them tonight).  The scriptures have tremendous promises for us! But we, even as Christians, hardly believe it.  I will admit it’s hard to watch the world pass us by at times, but at times, that’s exactly what we must do… let it all pass us by, and rest.

Read Hebrews 3 and 4.  Another life scripture.  The writer of Hebrews in no uncertain words implores us, he practically commands us, to Rest.  And then there’s a warning, if we refuse His rest.  There’s a wonderful promise, “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.”  (Hebrews 4:9). But also a warning, “Let us therefore labour to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

Friends, we have been living in these last days for a little while now.  And there is a great temptation to fear.  Look at Revelation 3:10, “I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation.”  It’s a great temptation to want to take matters into our own hands, leave that place of rest in our God and try to create our own Last-Days-Survival-Guide.

There is a rest for the people of God.  Have you ever seen an animal during a great storm?  What do they do?  I’ll tell you what they don’t do, they don’t run around crazy, shouting and yelling, frantically trying to save themselves. (I’m playing around some with you all.) I watched two rabbits and some birds not so long ago in a storm as it was passing thru.  They simply hid out under a large tree and watched the storm passing them by.

We have a shelter from the storm, also, just like those bunnies and birds.  We have a mighty fortress and a strong tower!  We have a hiding place, a secret place, a place hidden away from the troubles of this world.  Oh! How I pray we would all trust Him and run to Him in the next storm!  He is our secret place, our shelter from the storm, our strong tower, our defense – He is our hiding place.  We can rest.

So of us will make it to the end.  The Bible is very clear on this subject.  Whether we make it to rapture, or to the day the sky departs like a scroll and we see heaven opened and the Son of Man coming with power, with an army and Great Glory, there will be children of God who make it to the end.  He doesn’t have any burdens to give to us, brothers and sisters.  Quite the contrary, He will lead us to rest – His yoke is easy and His burden is…. Light!

You want to serve Him, mightily in these last days!?  So do I!  Let’s enter into His rest and let Him bring forth great and powerful works out from our lives!  You want to please Him?  So do I!!  Let’s trust Him with that also.  Let’s learn to abide in Him, to rest, to trust Him, to cease from our own dead works and let Him bring us to life, and life more abundantly.

I think we have been led astray – myself included.  There is a rest for the people of God.  They rested in Acts.  That’s the first thing Jesus told them to do, “Wait…” (Acts 1:4). How many times does Jesus tell us, in the end of days, “Watch and Pray, lest you enter into temptation”.  There is that word again, temptation.  He tells us over and over and over, “Rest. Watch. Wait. Pray. Let me do the heavy lifting.  You are my children.  I am the Big Father, God.”

I love Him.  He is so good.  I am broken but that’s Ok, He still loves me.  And I can relax because He loves me, I can trust Him and breath, and enjoy, and love, and enter into His rest, because He loves me, even here at the end of all things.

I hope this blesses you, Brothers and Sisters.

We are so very loved.

You are so very very loved…

It’s what He always wanted for us since the beginning…
